Matt R. Walker has been practicing law in Colorado since 2005. Prior to that, he practiced in Mississippi from 2000-2005. Currently his practice is dedicated to personal injury, employment and criminal defense. With over one hundred jury trials tried to verdict in CO, Matt is one of Colorado’s most prolific and successful trial attorneys. Additionally, he has experience in family law, administrative law, appellate work, and general counsel.
Matt was born and raised in N. Augusta, SC. He graduated from Clemson University in 1989 with a B.A. in Political Science and a minor in Accounting. He continued his studies at Clemson receiving his Master of Arts in English in 1991. Thereafter, he served as a retail manager for Enterprise Rent-A-Car in North Carolina before commencing his legal studies in 1997 at the Mississippi College School of Law in Jackson, MS. Matt is admitted to all state and federal courts in CO and MS (inactive). Matt is a proud member of the Colorado LGBT Bar Association and supporter of many worthy organizations in the metro Denver area that provide assistance to these and other marginalized communities.
